Beacon's Annual Halloween Festival
The Beacon Business Association has been very hard at work planning this years halloween event.  This year we are bigger and better than ever.  We have ongoing events like the all new "prison theme" at the Beacon Screamery, the mini haunted house at Beacon Bath and Bubble (464 Main Street) and the Ghost Room at the Back Room Gallery at 475 Main Street.

• On, Friday,  October 23rd, there is a pumpkin hunt on Main Street from 3 pm to 7 pm, at participating stores.  Find a pumpkin and get a prize. There is also a Pajama Night at Echo (484 Main Street) for the kids.  Story telling and music with Miss Vickie at 7 pm.  Also there is  Dinema at the Cup and Saucer Tea Room, 165 Main Street, Free Halloween Movie and a 3 course dinner.  Reservations only, call 831-6287.
  
• On Saturday, the 24th,  there is a Psychic Fair at Main and Cross Street from noon to 7 pm.  Card, Tarot and Leaf Readers, Zombie Make up artists and other vendors will be on hand.  The Zombie Walk starts at 7 pm with lots of zombie things to do.  At 9pm There is Zombie Pin Up Contest at the Cup and Saucer Tea room and at 9:30 is a Free outdoor showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show (Bring your own chairs and blankets.  There is a Zom Hop at 294 Main Street for Zombies under age 21. and there are various live music locations around town.
   
• On Sunday, October 25th, There is a Children's Costume Tea at the Cup and Saucer Tea Room at 11:30am.  Tea Party and costume contest with prizes for the children.  Reservations only, call 831-6287.  At 1pm is our Annual Hocus Pocus Parade, starting at Main Street and South Street.  March down Main Street and Trick or treat your way back.  Participating stores will be marked with orange and black balloons. If you would like to have a float or group, please be at South Street by 12:30pm.

• Saturday, October 31st -- 3rd Annual Halloween Costume Contest
