Models on Main Street
The Farm Fresh Bus Tours are arriving at the West End of Main St around 10:30am - both Saturday and Sunday!!!
Dates: 8/16 & 8/17 & 8/23 & 8/24 & 8/30 & 8/31
They have just two hours in Beacon - here's the details of this trip and the other Beacon mentions in the new Metro North Railroad - 2008-2009 One-Day Getaways:.
- Dia:Beacon - package includes discount round trip rail fare and discount admission to Beacon. Available any day.
- Bannerman Island Cruise and Walking Tour - package includes discount round-trip rail fare and cruise/walking tour admission. Now through October 2008.
- Berries and Cream Farm Fresh Days. - package includes discount round-trip rail fare to Beacon, shuttle to Main St Beacon - for lunch and shopping (2 hours), then Shenandoah Dairy Farm, Fishkill Farms and Secor Farms and then bus back to Beacon Train Station. They will be given BACA maps as part of their package.
Dates: June 28 & 29, July 5th & 6, July 12 & 13
Schedule: Each Friday before they arrive in Beacon, Dutchess Tourism will
call RiverWinds with the # of people who have rsvp'd and are expected on the
train.
Pick-Up: Train Arrives 10:13 a.m., Bus Departs 10:30 a.m.
- First Stop: City of Beacon ( 2 1/4 hours) arrive at Tourism Center, RiverWinds Gallery, at 10:40 am -- Shuttle Departs: 1:00 p.m.
- Second Stop: 1:30 pm Shenandoah Dairy Farm , Jackson Road, Hopewell
- Third Stop: 2:35 pm Fishkill Farms, 9 Fishkill Farm Rd, Hopewell Junction
- Fourth Stop: 3:45pm Secor Farms, 63 Robinson Lane, Wappingers Falls Drop-Off: Beacon Train Station, 5:30 p.m. for 5:50 p.m. train departure
- Family Fun Farm Days - package includes discount round-trip rail fare to Beacon, shuttle to Main St Beacon, for lunch and shopping (2 hours), then Sprout Creek Farm and Barton Orchards. Similar schedule to above.
