ABOUT
The Beacon Business Association and Miss Vickie’s Music Studio will sponsor “Models On Main Street” in Beacon.
This year the officials are inviting all photographers to participate in a photographic contest celebrating this annual event. The exhibit includes 25 models created by storeowners, artists, and Beacon High School students. Models on Main will run from June 27th to August 3rd. All models are on display in various stores on Main Street in Beacon.
Photographers should submit their entries between July 31st and August 2nd. There will be a reception on August 9th at ZuZu’s Coffeehouse from 4 pm to 6 pm for all photographers, family and friends, as well as the model creators. Honors will be awarded and photographers may be sold for the benefit on Mid-Hudson Animal Aid.
There is no fee to participate. Digital and film, color and black and white, children and adults and amateurs and professionals are all welcome.
Participants are encouraged to be creative and daring.

GUIDELINES
Photograph any time from June 27th to August 2nd.
- Drop off entries at 146 Main Street, Beacon - Between July 31st and August 2nd. Call 845-440-8958 for time.
- Submitted photos should be clearly marked with your contact information (Name, Address, Phone and E-mail).
- After exhibition, unsold photos can be picked up at 146 Main Street.
(Please indicate whether you prefer your photos NOT to be offered for sale.) 40% of all proceeds from sale of photos will go to benefit the Mid-Hudson Animal Aid. (Photographers: For pricing guidelines please call 845-440-8958.)
- Indicate whether you are a professional or amateur photographer.
- Indicate whether you are over or under 18 years of age.
- Awards will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each category, as well as Best in Show.
- You may submit up to 3 images. The sizes should be from 5”x7” minimum to 24”x30” maximum, and may be printed on any surface.
